Buying

When does the seller get my money?

Only after you’ve checked the item at the hub (or at your door) and tapped Received. Until then NoWahala holds it.

I paid. What happens now?

The seller has 48 hours to drop it off at their hub, where staff photograph and seal it. If they don’t, you’re refunded in full automatically. We email you when it’s ready to collect.

How long do I have to collect?

The order page and the email tell you the date. If you don’t collect by then, the seller is paid and NoWahala can no longer refund you, so collect in time.

The item isn’t as described

Don’t tap Received. Record a short video of the problem in the app before you leave the hub (or before the rider leaves), and report it. The item stays at the hub while the seller answers and, if needed, we decide.

What is the buyer protection fee?

A small fee on each order, shown at checkout before you pay. It pays for the hub check, sealing your item and holding your money until you tap Received. You get it back if the seller doesn’t deliver, cancels, or a dispute goes your way. Buying through a seller’s own link or shop costs less.

How long do refunds take?

Refunds go back the way you paid. Bank transfers usually take a few working days after we send them.

Someone asked me to pay them directly

Don’t. We can only protect money paid in NoWahala. Report the chat or listing. See Buying safely.

Selling

When do I get paid?

When the buyer taps Received (or doesn’t collect in time), to the bank account you added. Before your first payout we check your ID once; the name must match your bank account.

What if I can’t drop it off in time?

The buyer is refunded and your NoWahala Score drops. If you can’t sell it after all, cancel from the order page straight away: it still costs points, but less than a missed deadline.

A buyer reported a problem

Open the order: you’ll see their video and the hub’s drop-off photos. Accept, or explain why it was as described, before the deadline. If you don’t answer, it counts as accepting.

What is the NoWahala Score?

Your public reliability score out of 100. How it works.
