The NoWahala Score
Every seller has a score out of 100 that shows how reliably they deliver what they sell. You see it under every item, next to their ratings and completed sales.
How it works
- Everyone starts at 60 out of 100.
- Good sales, quick drop-offs and 5-star ratings add points. They add fast at first and more slowly as you get close to 100.
- Problems take points off in full, however high your score is.
- Everything counts fully for 6 months, half for the next 6, then stops counting.
- Your score and average rating show to buyers once you have completed 3 sales. Until then you show as a new seller.
- A higher score puts your listings higher in Recommended results.
What raises it
| Sale completed: the buyer has the item | +2 |
| Dropped off quickly after payment | +1 |
| A buyer gives 5 stars | +1 |
What lowers it
| A buyer gives 3 stars | -1 |
| A buyer gives 1 or 2 stars | -3 |
| The rider came but couldn’t collect the item | -10 |
| The seller cancelled a paid order | -10 |
| The seller missed the drop-off deadline, so the buyer was refunded | -15 |
| A buyer’s problem report was upheld | -15 |
| Your item failed NoWahala verification, so the buyer was refunded | -10 |
Selling? Keep your score high
- Drop items off within 24 hours of payment. Missing the 48-hour deadline costs 15 points.
- If you offer rider pickup, be home with the item ready. A wasted trip costs 10 points, and the rider fee comes out of your payout.
- Describe items honestly and show any marks in the photos. Upheld problem reports cost the most.
- If a buyer pays for verification, reset the device and sign out of iCloud or Google before drop-off. A failed verification costs 10 points.
- Only list what you have. Cancelling a paid order costs 10 points.
- Reply to buyers quickly. It shows on your profile.
- Problems count fully for 6 months, half for the next 6, then stop counting.
